I had green algae in my pool when opening and had to drain it but obviously couldn't get all of it out, I also need to adjust the chemicals. How do you recommend me getting rid of the algae? Should I do all steps necessary to get rid of the algae before or after I adjust all my chemicals? Thank you!

My pool is opening a little late this summer (because of Sandy everything got moved back) and I'm having difficulty putting chemicals in this year (first time running the pool solo). I know i need to adjust for calcium hardness, alkalinity, pH, then chlorine; however, when do I put the stabilizer in--at what step. Also, if you could, just confirm if that is the correct order of chemicals.
