  1. Hello, We're in the process of installing an endless-type swimming pool on concrete, with deep end. We wanted to know if anyone would recommend (or advise against) rigid foam insulation (such as Celfort 300- 2" thick boards) for the bottom of the pool beneath the liner. Might there be problems with the liner getting between the cracks around the insulation boards and the concrete? Will the foam compress too much and thereby stretch the liner? We wanted to put the 2" boards in the deep-end and 1" thick everywhere else. There's a 250 lb. flow head that would be sitting on the 1" foam at one end. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks kindly.
  2. Pool companies will badmouth each other because they are each other's competition. My recommendation: 1- Check each company out on the Better Business Bureau. Make sure that if there are complaints, that these have been resolved to the customers' satisfaction. and 2- Ask around: Neighbours, co-workers, family, friends who own a pool... and find out if they were happy with the company they selected. There's nothing more valid than the customers' perspective on whether a company delivered on the goods.
  3. Actually the Infinite Pool is manufactured by Sentry Pools in Moline Illinois. They sell it under the name Riverpool. I like the construction of it- but would recommend you buy it from Sentry rather than WaveTec/Infinite. I stated reasons in 2 previous posts, but these posts have mysteriously disappeared.
