  1. I bought all my relays at Onlinecomponents.com
  2. That's awesome. You didn't need me. Not a lot of consumers have the ability to replace relays. And you really only needed one. Did you figure out which one was suspect by replacing them one at a time? Hey it always helps to have 2 heads involved. Again I appreciate your advice. No I did not replace one at a time.....I shotgunned them. The solder on them bad boys is sure hard to get flowing. I used Cardas silver solder but I don't know what Balboa used. Very hard to get started so it took awhile to get them removed. Thanks again.
  3. Ok I had all the relays except 1. Got them replaced and will install later today............fingers crossed.
  4. I have all the relays for that here and will get to replacing them this weekend. Thanks!
  5. Woke this morning after the tub running all night and had a OH (over heat) on the top side control display. Turned the tub off and am thinking on what to do next.
  6. Roger: I had it powered off all lastnight. Replaced the topside control today and still have the same problem. And yes it is set for a 4 hour cycle. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Roger: I have 102 set as the temp but the topside readout will display 104 as the temp and the tub pump never shuts off. The jet light on the topside will go out after some time but the pump just keeps running. Thanks for the reply.
  8. I have a Viking II spa with a Balboa pack. This weekend the hot tub light would blink on and off, pump would run, but no heat. I found that the light button was stuck in the on position and after repeatedly pushing it finally the light went off and the tub began to heat again. However now the tub runs constantly and the topside readout temp is above what I have programmed in. I found that the tub had a 12 hour circulation programmed in (F6) and I knocked that down to a 4 hour (F2) but shouldn't the temp I have programmed in take care of the cycle? Any ideas on what I can to do troubleshoot the tub? The topside control is what they call a Balboa mini oval part number MVP260.
  9. Hello all. This is my 1st post and I hope you can help. I just purchased a 2008 Viking II spa and am having a little trouble. When we use the spa for 20 minutes or so we are having trouble getting it to pump water again after it heats up??? The reason the questions marks is we have only used it one time so this is the best info I can give. Here is what happened. We used the hot tub set at 102 degrees for about 20 minutes. I had it set on high while we were in it. It shut off after 20 minutes and we figured it was the timer. After getting out I tried to activate the pump to circulate but it would not. I heard a click in the access panel and a hum like the motor was trying to start but would not. I powered it down for the night, came back this morning, powered up, and it works good. I would like to get it fixed before it craters so that I do not have to pay a high repair bill as it was a stretch just to get it here for us. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
