  1. To the (still) somewhat uneducated shopper i.e. yours truly, these two tubs appear to be somewhat of a head to head offering from the two companies. From what I've gathered thus far I'd likley feel comfortable with either brand but I’m having difficulty separating the sales pitch between their offerings. Filtering systems is a good example, After talking to the salespeople and reading the literature you would be a fool to chose the "other guys product" it seems. Jacuzzi has the “Clearray” system, Limelight has the “ACE” salt water system as an upgrade (or Everfresh with CD ozone). All are well marketed however, is one system hands down better then the other(s)? Our use will be for two people 90% of the time at a guesstamated 4 days a week, and as an added bonus my wife has fairly sensitive skin. Anyway, I’ve wet tested the Flair and apart from having a torso that’s a tad long to get super effective use of the neck jets while in the lounge I like the tub. A local Jacuzzi dealer is getting a 335 from the warehouse to his store next week so I can wet test it as well. I really wantt to join the ranks of being a hot tub user and have been for a number of years but to be honest I’m having a difficult time trying to educate myslef on these tubs. What's solid "gotta have it" technology, what components set one apart from the other, and what's the slick marketing that fails to live up to the hype...... If you have any comments based on experience I’d love to hear them. Thanks in advance....
  2. I've been thinking of getting a hot tub for a number of years and have even visited a few dealers over that period of time, well I'm to the point where I'm going to pull the trigger and as of today (after wet tests) I'm leaning towards the Limelight Flair from a local reputable dealer. I know a good dealer who offers good service and support has real value over the long haul and I realize they need to make a profit to stay in business and I'm good with that. Where I'm struggling is knowing what a fair price is. An industry that doesn't publish prices for big ticket items is IMHO unfortunate and can easily be viewed as possessing the attitude of "take the customer for everything you can". So my question to anyone that would care to reply is, what are the margins on a spa like the Flair?, how about the ACE system? Thanks!
