  1. It does appear I have no chance of getting this Jet over here In the U.K. Could you recommend a good trusted company over in the U.S for me try and source? many thanks
  2. That’s brilliant thank you very much RDspaguy 👍. That looks like it could well be the one I’m after. Now to see if I can manage to source one here in the U.K. Is it quite normal to find different brand jets in one tub? I think the rest are Pentair type.
  3. Hey guys wondered if any one can help identifying this jet. It’s roughly 7.5inch on the face. Its removed by turning and screwing out. I’ve looked all over on line and just can’t find it. The waterway jumbo jet is almost the same. It’s an old tub, 13 years old or so and not sure of brand. The rest of cyclone jets in the tub are Pentair Brand.
  4. Ok cheers guys, will have a look. It is really loud, not so on fast speed just when its on low speed. I can make it a bit quieter when lodging bits of wood under various bits around the outside of cabinet. So it must be due to the cabinet if you guys say that's normally a quiet pump.
  5. I've just fitted a New Aqualflow Flo Master 2 Speed pump and a whole new spa pack. (Was time to treat the old girl) Anyway the New pump seems to be very loud on normal speed. The Humming seems to be louder than the old one, which I thought was a little loud. To the point where I'm questioning if it's going to be bothering the neighbours. Are these pumps usually loud pumps? Any ideas what can help to make it not so loud? Or have I got maybe a faulty pump? I know it's a bit tricky to answer this one guys, but any info or advice would be great.
  6. Thanks Dr spa. Yeah I thought as much. Any recommendations on good sealants? I'm UK based tho...
  7. Bummer!!!! The air valve is still leaking when I splash water around it...argggg!! Maybe the sealant I used is a bit poor or maybe didn't get enough in there. Can anyone tell me would Magic Lube (blue bottle) be a good product to use to seal this gasket/Valve from seeping through the shell hole?? I have some you see but wasn't sure if it's just a lubricant or does it act as a good sealant too?? Thanks Chris
  8. Cheers Dr spa..... Done just that. Loosened the nut which gave me minimal gap to get a bit sealant in there. Under the gasket was full of muck and grit/dirt so gave it a little clean up first best I could. It says 12 hours till sealant fully cured, so will give it a test later. Unfortunately the air valve is situated right above the spa pack....so a leak here is not good as its dripping right on top of pack! Now another question if I may? Under both air valves there is a manifold on each with i think 4 or 5 pipes coming off each. Should all these pipes coming off these be soley for the purpose of air? As it seems 1 or 2 of them are carrying water. I do have 1 or 2 jets that seem to be stuck and will not turn either way and 1 where it turns slightly but the middle bit doesn't spin. All my jets are 10yrs old so I'd imagine some diffusers need replacing. If they won't turn how are you supposed to remove to change the out? Thanks again for help.....people like you deserve a medal for the help you give us mere mortals ha...
  9. It's about 10 yrs old Dr...don't know what make/model. Just to confirm tho guys there's NO leak or water coming up or out of the diverter. The leak is only happening when I splash water on the top of spa. Only found this problem because I'd had a new topside panel fitted and was splashing water on that to check for leaks. That is when I noticed the diverter also leaking but ONLY when I soaked the area (diverter is next to the topside? Cheers for help thus far
  10. would it not leak perminately if that was the case guys? It's only doing so when I splash some water onto the diverter?
  11. I have a leak on my topside air valve and wonder if anyone could advice how I fix. Now this only drip leaks underneath into the cabinet when I splash a little water onto it. (So it's not a jet problem causing water to spray out the air pipes thankfully) I think it's purely the seal/gasket where the diverter fits into the shell. Splash some water on the acrylic around the valve and you see water run round the threads underneath inside the spa cab then start to drip. So how do I re-seal it? There's a nut underneath inside the cabinet. Does that need taking off to allow some movement for putting some sealant in? If anyone could explain what I'm sure is a simple fix that would be brilliant?
  12. No that doesn't work either mate. When I hit cool or warm after or before mode it just changes the temp setting up or down a degree.
  13. My tub is running in Econ mode and I don't appear to be able to change it to standard mode. It's a balboa 2005le pack with sensor and pressure switch in heater. 2 Speed pump and the old white 6 button balboa control panel. Jets, blower, Mode, light, cool and warm. I press Mode it flashes Econ but any other button presses does not change it to std or slp. I've also tried cool then mode and still doesn't change it. The light doesn't appear to be working either. The light on the button works and you hear a relay click but light doesn't come on.....Wondering if connected?? Any ideas anyone of either the problem or some suggestions of what combination of buttons I could try to change modes.
  14. Hi all.....bringing this thread back from the dead!!! I tested the heater today with my multi meter on continuity setting and it appears the heater is working. Probes on both elements and it gave a steady buzz and reading of 20 or 0.20 If the heater is working does that mean perhaps the switch just failed? Cheers for any help
  15. Yes will check heater Gatubber thanks. Few bucks in the U.S I'm sure. Unfortunately everything costs more in the UK! Haha. It's about $180 here for a pressure switch and heater element! Robbing gits!
