  1. Its a good thing you jumped in with that contribution. I don't know how this forum would have survived without the 500th comment from in industry person about how ignorant we are. Priceless addition.
  2. The spelling lessons must be helping. You got them almost all right this time. And for you information, my tub has been running twice as long as yours without so much as a hiccup
  3. One year and still running smoothly. No self serving dealer in sight. Life is good.
  4. How dare you come on this forum and speak the truth about Costco spas. Don't you know there are folks on here whose very livelyhood is threatend by large customer orientated stores with good products who would have us all believe that we have been sucked into the hype and do not have the ability to see things quite as clearly as they do.
  5. Did you seriously think that you were going to get any constructive help on this site. Most of the people on here are self serving industry people with too much time on their hands and an idea that if people see things differantly then they do, there is something wrong with them. There are other forums that are much more helpful.
  6. Once again just the word Costco in the topic brings out the nay sayers, some of which don't even know how to spell Costco.
  7. Did the jet break or just come off? Mine come off easily so I can move them around the tub, but I haven't had one actually break. There are plenty of industry people on here that lothe and fear Costco. You will here from them I am sure.
  8. Of course they will replace them. I cracked mine while setting it up, and not only did they send me the one I needed, they sent two others in addition. No cost to me whatsoever. And contrary to nay sayers, they did it quickly.
  9. And the beat goes on........and on......and on.
  10. Or it could be that most of us are happy with them.
  11. My idea is to call a service person and pay him $200 out of the $3000 to $4000 I saved in the first place. Seems that should last for quite a few years.
  12. Its amusing how many of these threads end up with costco and their crappy spas. Seems a bit like obsession.
  13. Its not quite a year old. The circulation pump basically circulates water through two or three small jets 24 hours a day. The preprogrammed cycles run either once or twice a day for a half hour to an hour a day. To tell you the truth I am not positive that there is a seperate pump, but if there isnt there is some way that they have figured out how to make the 24 hour circulation differant from the low speed jets.
  14. How can you agree with him when his facts are blatenly wrong. Maybe you didn't read his whole post.
  15. Goes to show how little you actually know about the costco tub. The costco tub has both a 24 hour circulation pump with ozonator and pre programmed times when all pumps run. Bash something you know about.
  16. You can change the presettings as far as how many times they come on and how often. Mine comes on at 2pm and I think that that is just about the time that I reset the programs, so maybe that is the trick.
  17. One more satisfied customer and still no complaints from someone who actually owns one.
  18. Shhhhhhhhhh!............................You will have them jumping off buildings with talk like that.
  19. I have searched the board as good as I could, and I could not find one negative comment by an actual owner of a costco tub. You know, someone who actually uses one on a day in and day out basis. As far as the arguement that we all justify our purchases, I could not disagree with you more. I don't know a soul on this board. Why should I waste my time justifing anything that I do to a bunch of people that I will never meet. I say positive things about the costco tub because my experience with it has been nothing but positive. (Except building the platform to set it on.)
  20. Sounds like someone needs to deal with some anger issues to me.
  21. We are thinking about building a deck around the hot tub and I am wondering how many people have done this and how did you maintained accessability to the working parts. Any help would be appreciated.
  22. Heres the way my math works as far as these Costco spas go. 0 complaints from actual consumers + ranting a raving about poor service, poor quality, poor warranties from industry people = fear.
