thank you Ray. Not quite the answer I was looking for but that kinda what I figured.

I live where it freezes at night. The pump automatically comes on when it detects that the air temp is below freezing. this means that the pool sometimes will be running all night! is there a way to keep the pool from running so much? Insulate the pipes????? ideas???? Thanks
