  1. Did you ever think about how it compares to other brands? That price is not justified in anyway. If you are getting that sort of money for that spa, you are ripping off people, maybe not on purpose, but by common sense and a survey of the market, you too can figure that out Looks like you don't have any common sense!!!!! I have never bad mouthed my competiton to sell my views. Ilet the customer decide what they want based on what i know of my tubs and I also sell calspas as a cheaper model for those who want to spend less. If I amselling an Aspire at $9000.00 to $10,000.00 it's because it is worth and not because I pushed it on them. My customers come back because I'm the least pushy and get discouraged by the other dealers in my town. It is about value, and you don't really believe that do you? I know watkins has a good quality tub. I looked at a lot of manufacturers before making my decision with the help of a service guy with 35 years experience. I give my customers websites and forums to research before buying if they want. So don't try to play Mr know it all with me, I don't like fake peoples opinions being pushed on me. I prefer people who can simply tell the truth about what they are being asked, stick to the questions and shut the hell up about what other garbage you may your self beleive.
  2. I agree. great spas, great look, quality warranty etc... I think they are better than Coleman.
  3. By the way Jim, What Spas do you reccomend to consumers? Hi everyone, I'm glad some one mentioned this. We sat a Spa down on a customers slab and could see a slight gap in the front. We asked someone to go out and take a look. I was told because it was a solid flat foundation supporting the middle it was ok! They had a slight dip in the cement in the front so they stuck some wood in the gap in the front and left it. Is this right?
  4. Hot Springs is going to last a very very long time, So if you were to purchase a hot tub without warranty, you would definitely want a good quality Hot tub like Hot Springs. I think that's a good price for a 2 year old Hot Spring which by the way does retail between 8000.00 and 10000.00 Do you have Caldera, or sundance they also have god quality tubs with bells and whistles and good warranty.
  5. I sell CAldera Aspire for $9500.00 thank you very much JIM!!!!!! and they are worth it !!!!!! I think that is a good price with a coverlifter and delivery. It has ozone system, stereo, LED lighting waterfall, seats seven people and has full warranty as follows 10 year shell and surface, 5 year heater & parts,etc.......... Costco has nothing to offer. Hot Springs is the top line of tubs for Watkins (who makes Caldera too)made by the same manufacturer with the same quality. I sell Caldera and I'm an honest person, not some sleezy salesperson making up a presentation so don't slander sales people who enjoy their work and help their customers find something to be proud of!!!!!!!!!! I,ve sold the aspire to some family so was i trying to be slick!!!!!
  6. [Love the Caldera Aspire. very nice looking tub, great exterior lighting as well as interior, also has a attractive water fall.which also has lighting, most importantly it is a well made tub with a good warranty.waterproof stereos and speakers with surround. and dual controls. It also has a good Ozone system and is a energy pro Hot Tub. Good luck!
  7. Hot Spring Vista retail at around $10,900.00. The warranty will not transfer to second buyers. great tub by the way. I wouldn't pay no more tham $6,500.00. Good Luck
  8. [ Is Jim correct regarding the crack repair procedure on the HS tub? That sounds like it could be a serious disadvantage down the road. . . Jim has a history of knocking down his competition there are alot of good hot tub copanies around. Hot Springs is one of the industries best. I have not heard of any shell problems. All manufacturers will have some service calls, but do they all have a good warranty to back it up?
  9. I know of some of the reputable dealers with good customer service, warranty, non-wood siding, good parts nice look, lock down covers, and great reputation. Hot Springs, Caldera, sundance, Bullfrog, Dimension 1, Dynasty. Caldera Spas has a nice look, great warranty, reputable dealers, lock down insulated covers, An energy pro circulation pump and heating system, ozone systems to save you on chemicals, easy to use digital controls and lots more. wwwcalderaspas.com. Good Luck!
  10. Are you getting a ozone system? If so You can buy chemical free shock, and some bromine tablets. If not you can go anywhere and get a start up kit and some shock or chlorine, but most Caldera dealers will sell the same chemicals you'd be getting from a nother place.
  11. I think the Martinique is a great Spa weel made and will not be giving you maintenance nightmares. So If your getting a great deal and are looking for a well made Spa with a good warranty go for it. There should be service guys in your area that can help you fix your spa and find out how to get the parts and labour paid for. A good freind of mine called around found a spa service guy who was familiar with the tub and got him to call explain the problem, got the part shipped and the warranty taken care of. Watkins is the manufacturer for the caldera martinique. You can call a tech at the company and get all the information you need 1-800-669-1881 they are located in San Diego. Good luck!
  12. I think the caldera Martinique will fit her perfectly, nice jets and contoured seating in that tub, the lounger is also a little smaller as the tub is only 34" high. Good luck
  13. Hot springs, Caldera, D-1, Sundance are all very good spas. If possible wet test and see what fits you. Good Luck
