  1. mjs, Sorry...I misunderstood. PH Decrease (my PH is to high in this area) - Bromine granuals manualy applied in the skimmer w/jets running. - SpaGuard Oxidizer Enhanced Shock once a week ((Sodium Dichloro-s-triazinetrione) (whatever that is, it's what they gave me packets of) applied same as the PH decrease and Bromine. built-in ozonator Water Clairifier (is this a gimmic?) once a week Stain and Scale Control once a week (both applied same as others) Everything they gave me is SpaGuard brand name. Did I miss anything? That's about it. thanks Oh, by the way I'm thinking of going with the test kits with activators. I really don't like the test strips, I don't think they are as accurate.
  2. mjs, I do nothing but add a little bromine after use by hand into the skimmer with the jets running for about 10 min.. That is how I add all the chemicals and that is what the owners manual says to do. There is nothing automatic or any type of bromine filled floater device in my tub and the manufacture cautions about using this method (I don't know why). I don't see what the harm would be, but that is what they say. I was just curious on what everyone else does that adheres to this type of chemical application, and that is add bromine before use or after. I would think your residual would maintain longer in using the latter method. Thanks for your help Ramjet
  3. Okay here is another twist. I have a Hotspring tub, they say to only apply your chemicals into the skimmer with the jets running. "Do not use floaters". So does anyone else out there with a HS use floaters???? Thanks in advance.
  4. Some say before they get in. I say after everyone is out. Seems that would be the most logical choice, but i'm probably wrong. What do you all do?
  5. I wished I could look at a Sundance but no dealers close to my home. That's the reason for the HotSpring "availabilty" and reputation.
  6. OK, I'm a newbie so I might as well bore you with my question. I'm about to purchace a Prodigy at $6,300. That includes tax, steps, Concept I cover lift, delivered and set up except i'm going to have do a little electrical work first to hook up 230v. Good deal or am I blowing it? Thanks in advance. Oh by the way, this is a great forum...i've been lurking for a couple of weeks.
