  1. I would say no more than an inch. once it makes the slope towards the deep end it becomes flush against the wall. You say typical as in this is ok or bad work?
  2. I just had an inground liner replaced in my kidney shaped pool three weeks ago. I is a 27 mil supermax from triac. In the shallow end the liner is away about an inch or less from the corner where the wall and floor meet. It is this way all around the shallow end including under the steps. Is this normal? It seems like something could puncture the space since its is not against the wall. I other liner I had was a 20mil and I dont remember it being like this. I noticed it when the pool was filling up but though the pressure would push it into place. Should I contact the installer or is this fine ? Thanks, Mike
