  1. Anybody know anything about the hoseless robots? I saw a sale on the Smart Pool Robo-Kleen. http://www.opentip.com/Tools-Auto-Industrial/Smart-Pool-Robokleen-Cleaner-p-2099439.html
  2. Wondering what heater is like by most. I have a 24' round that holds around 13.000 gallons. Thanks
  3. The pump is two speed, I believe it's 1 1/2 HP. I plan on doing the piping tomorrow. Thanks.
  4. I'm going to have an above ground pool installed next month and want to put the filter and pump about 15 feet from the pool. I'm going to dig a trench about 2 feet deep and burry PVC pipe. So I have two questions. 1ST- what size pipe should it be? I was thinking 1 1/2". 2ND- I want to put Jandy Never Lube valves just where the pipes come out of the ground at the filter location. I'm only seeing the valves as 1 1/2" on one side and 2" on the other side is this right?
  5. You definetly need a dedicated 20AMP curcuit for for your hot tub. Depending on how far from your electric panel you will want to increase the wire size for voltage drop. That horizontal blade on the receptacle is telling you that it needs more power than you normal convience outlet.
  6. Is there one place better than another for the Jandy valves or is on line best.
  7. This is for an above ground pool. Are PVC fittings and pipe from HomeDepot or Lowes able to be used? Or are they special pressure rated? Or is just the primer and glue different? I'm looking to remote my filter and pump about 12 to 14 feet from the pool. I'm also thinking about useing ball valves and unions for future convenience.
  8. Hi I'm from Northern New Jersey and preparing to have a 24' round X 52" pool installed and have had a couple of set backs already. I'm going to have the site ready for them to install and do the electric as I'm an electrician. Our first set back was dealing with our town for the permits, I did not think it was going to be simple but it was a royal pain. My second problem was an abandonded septic tank. Our property has a 21" difference in height between the two sides of the pool, and as I was digging I found our obstacale. I'll be posing with a bunch of questions in the very near future.
