  1. Just got a tub about a month ago. I purchased a Hot Springs Tub and have noticed each day that a coating of oil is on surface of water more closer ttto the edges. I put in chlorine as per manufacturer and all other levels are where they should be. My tub has 325 sq ft filtration and a circulation pump that runs 24/7. I have tried an oxidizer in place of chlorine and still the same. My tub has an ozonator and a silver ion cartridge. What could be causing this and how can I fix it? Any help would be appreciated. I am using the Freshwater chemicals that came with Tub.
  2. I live in Maryland purchased tub from a Delaware dealer. Price includes cover, delivery, chemicals for start up, cover lifter, and ozonator.
  3. Today I was out looking at spas and came across thee Hot Springs tubs. I like the Cameo but found the Envoy made by Hot Springs more to my liking. I bought the Envoy today it has 39 jets, ozonator, steps, cover and lifter, start up kit, and installer does final hook up to electric. I purchased this tub for $8295 delivered.
  4. I just purchased an Envoy today with the ozonater and cover lifter for $8200.
  5. I just got a Quote on a Cameo yesterday and was given a price of $8400 no stereo and no ozonator.
  6. I thank everyone for their advice. I did some further research on tubs and I will either go with a Sundance Cameo or a Dimension 1 Chairman II. I will wet test on Saturday. How do these prices sound?? $8400 for the Sundance and $9100 for the Chairman II.
  7. Had a meeting with the Thermo Spa rep and was impressed with the features and the quality of the spas. Have heard they are over priced and just moderate tubs. I have seen some test results of comparisons of energy costs and these spas are competitive and beating out some top names for energy efficiency. I like the idea of the non foam filled spa for the simple ability to fix or repair tub without the inconvenience of removing the foam. The actual shell thickness is much thicker than foam filled tubs annd supports the tub even with all sides removed. I would like to hear of any input from others positive or negative.
  8. I have been doing some research on hot tubs and have found mixed reviews on Hydro Spa tubs. I can purchase a Millenium model with cover and steps delivered to my deck for $5700. I was looking for some input from the more experienced owners. I have a rep coming out from Thermo Spa tomorrow to check out their product. Any comments would be appreciated.
