  1. FOR THE MONEY and because they didn't care enough to look closer as they wanted the highest bid probably!!!! They previously sold their name to Tatum who had a bad reputation so please don't assume that the product must be good because it has their old time name. Coleman is another brand who sold their name. The had an agreement with one company and when it came to an end they basically put it up on the auction block and in the end Cal gave the highest bid and is using it. That showed that Coleman only cared about who would pay the most because you wouldn't sell your name to Cal because of their quality. I know you want to think that those old time names that have a long history tied to a quality product outside teh spa industry means the spas must be quality also but its just a money grab. I'm not knocking them, I wish someone who pay me to use my name too and I'd probably sell to the highest bidder too. i believe they also asked for proof that canadian tubs are low end..tatum was good until they hired the wrong guy that drove them into the ground
  2. can google northern hot tub covers if you are in canada use promo code "FRIENDS5OFF" for an additional 5%
  3. the original barrie jacuzzi dealer went to hydropool...by the looks of the other post that it was a smart move to switch
  4. or it could be a simple as calcium etc from the pipes when the dried
  5. i used to sell them about 10 years ago..my cousin still has his but has had quite abit of trouble with their circ pumps and circuit boards frying. I always thought they were decent when i sold them, but a couple years down the road the opinions are not the same
  6. i know someone going down..i will make sure they take a look and let us know
  7. i'd like to hear from and dynasty dealers out there to see how they are dealing with this..has it affected people coming into your stores?
  8. i wonder what else dynasty is lying about? it will be good fodder for the reputable companies out there as i see it.
  9. what did costco tell you..oh yeah right nothing..they just wanted your money
  10. if they had a "store" that reputable dealers have..they could go somewhere to get their money back or at least a person to deal with...don't tell me people are not trying to save a buck dealing with internet based companies. if they want a list of reputable companies that are asset based in UK i will get you some as will other members on here. Sorry i have no sympathy for people that don't get off the pc and look in their own town for a dealer.
  11. new2me, these folks are in the UK being ripped off by a vendor who deals in the UK. They're not looking to save a 'buck'—they work with pounds sterling, and I'm sure when they initiated the purchase they thought they were working with a reputable dealer. We've all been defrauded at some time or other, it happens even in North America.
  12. hope it was all worth saving a buck or two over buying north american made products from one of your local reputable dealers
