Amore Bay is a great tub I would not own any other hot tub I am going on 5yrs with my Amore Bay

That's a no brainer for me Lotus bay any day over chairman

I think the Lotus Bay is between 12k-14k The chairman should cost much less then the Lotus Bay. I own the Amore Bay right now and owned Lotus Bay 5 yrs ago The bay series is my choice

Last fall I noticed my panels on my Amore Bay was cracking and I called D1 and was told that my panels were no longer available. I paid an extra 500 dollars for the cattail panel and I can no longer get them. I need the two side panels replaced. last week I noticed the vertical slots are now popping out. My hot tub is going on four yr now. Does anyone know why the panels would split? D1 will replace the panels but with out the cattails. So much for lifetime warranty. I love my Amore but im not pleased about the panels

Can someone tell me the operating psi range. I have pro grid 60 DE filter . Right now my psi is around 18-20. This morning the psi 30 I back washed and added DE. Pressure 18-20

If you can buy the lotus bay 5 k I would jump on that deal.I had lotus bay for 4 yrs trouble free. I moved and bought amore bay had minor issues but D 1 service tech are the best.

The bug spray will not melt the foam. I don't think they are living in the foam.

Ok after weeks of investigation SGM has decided that it is scale that is coming up. I do think its plausable. I feel better now.

I have been told different things in regards to the pH of the water when closing the pool. What is the ideal pH as we close? Actually we need to know all the chemistries, including the calcium level, alkalinity, and chlorine. Also, our pool builder told us we don't have to put antifreeze in the lines here in upstate new York. Isn't this a risk? Thanks.

This is my second winter. Last yr pool builder closed my pool. This yr he wants 1k to close it due to the fact he is 1.5 hrs from me. Is this an easy task or should I just pay 1k. There is no gunite contractors near me

Last year I had diamond brite super blue . The first week is was light green. Then it slowly went to the nice blue

Im still getting the diamond brite in the vacuum bag. Called SGM they tell me hardness may be the culprit. My pool water hardness has been 275 all yr. I test weekly then have the pool store test it. Any ideas

Are you going to move to a state just because it may be cheaper to build a pool?

I bought my hot tub in Dec 2010 I live in NY and the ground was frozen solid. I was able to skim enough dirt to level the area. I bought EZ pads from my dealer. My plan was to use the pads until spring then have concrete poured. Well I still have the pads under the tub. The only complaint is my tub is the D1 Amore bay and it has curves. So I could see a small section of the Ez pad. So far the pads are great

This is my 2nd yr with ecomatic.The main con.trol has been replaced already. This season the ecomatic is having a hard time producing cl.

Here is my test results with taylor 2006 kit cl 1.2 alk 80 cal 275 salt 3800 cya 20 ph 7.8 The last few days I noticed diamond brite in the vacuum bag. The pool was installed last yr and up until a few days ago never had diamond brite come up. Any ideas? My water is clear and looks great. Also salt reading is also taylor 1755 kit

my pool is 18x38 with no water feature.

I tryed to search this topic. I will be opening my pool in a few weeks. My pool contractor wants $650 for the opening. Does anyone have instructions on opening pool with DE filter SWG Gunite pool?

My advise would to try to find a decent used spa in your area.. like hotsprings or D1 .
