  1. I got one from these guys to Canada in Dec, they had a promomtion for $59 for k2006. Local shop here in town $350, no bs.
  2. Roger I'm surprised, it took you to post #3 to slam strong, you are loosing your edge, lol.
  3. We used a 5000lb pallet jack, 3 sheets of plywood, driver and me, flat yard, then 3 buddies to lie it down.
  4. Good write up, we have had our Costco csx60 running since Dec 23 here in canada temps have ranged from -25f to +40f average -5f. We paid $4650. My comments: I only have 1 x 4hp it provides good action and better with about a 1/4 the jets closed with air on, with air off it's marginal. (2 x 4 would be nice imo). Lighting good. Cup holders good. Serviceability great as no foam on the lines and tub inside. Outside shell very very nice, looks like no other. Built in steps excellent, no snow or ice build up, tower warmer also nice. Seating / comfort etc excellent, better than my buddies $12,000 unit imo. Fit and finish very good, I did go inside and put expanding foam in the corners where the segments join as I could see light. I also added 3/8 inch weather stripping on the panles and used color match deck screws 2 per panel to seal it up better. Cost of mods $30. Installed Cover Valet on top ledge, works well but is like a back stop above our heads still not used to it. Ozone does nothing, do not get to amp'd about this feature, local shop has our chemistry good with bromine. Pump is really loud on low, it wakes me up sometimes at night in the back yard, not sure if any fix here in spring I might try to rubber insulate the mounting board better as alot of the noise is vibration of the shell caused by the motor. Cost has taken our power bill up from $130 per month to $180 compared to last several years in winter. In 2 months it's been used almost every day for 30 minutes. Strong support has been great, I can not say enough about the effort Chad puts forth, couple small issues he cleared up instantly. I would high recommend a strong spa basis customer service. Overall we are very pleased and would give this experience so far a 9/10.
  5. Would it improve the thermal efficiency to have the air vents closed when covered and not in use. Mine draws some air through the jets when the pump is on low and heating or filtering if vents open, thus it is drawing the warm air out of the cabinet and drawing cold air into replace?
  6. My csx60 has been running for a month now, the first week the pump was quiet, could not be heard outside our bedroom wall then it seems suddenly the motor is louder on low than high. When on high it seems to purr along but on low it has a vibration and noise if I put my hand on the motor. Is it going to crap out? This normal? I do not want to have it die we have plenty of winter left in Canada.
