  1. The leak did stop on its own slowly over a couple days. Evidently the gaskets expanded to plug the leak. Later when I drained this tub and sold it to my brother, the same thing happened when he got it home and filled it. Leaked for a few days, then slowly stopped.
  2. My hot tub is a Hot Springs Portable Jetsetter (2012 I believe). I live in Arizona. Drained the spa a month ago, warm pleasant weather. Just refilled and now the heater is leaking. The heater is a Watkins No Fault 240 volt, 6 kw, model code SSE-00-OH-OF. The heater is leaking, not from the smaller, double barrel end cap, but from the larger, square end cap behind the two threaded in sensors. Can I replace any o-rings or gaskets inside that cap. The heater works fine, don’t want to buy a whole heater if it only needs a better seal. Thanks for any help to steer me in the right direction.
  3. Recently acquired a 2012 Hot Spring Spa Jetsetter JJ hot tub. I’m connected to 230v power now. The tub heated up fine at first. In order to plug some leaks I ran 4 ounces of Marlig Spa Sealer thru. I let the tub run until it tripped off, about 3 hours. Well, after draining and refilling the tub, it won’t heat at all. After much testing, I realized the built in pressure switch on the Watkins No Fault 6kw heating element is bad. If I use a jumper on the circuit board I can get the tub to heat, red light on circuit board turns on. I did replace the two removable sensors on the heater with brand new ones. It’s my understanding that the internal pressure switch in the heater is not serviceable. I really don’t want to spend $400 on a heater. What dangers are there if I just keep my pressure switch jumper in place? If I make sure the tub always has water and the filters are clean, will I be ok? Thanks.
  4. New pressure switch solved the problem. Yesssss!! Now I just have to figure out why the air valve adjustment gurgles when on high (full air flow). Clerk at the store said it might be a check valve...??? Allowing too much water in the air line. Prevents air from mixing with the water so the jets don't provide much turbulance.
  5. Soaked the filter overnight like they suggest, 12 hours. Reads "FLO" no matter what. Spa place where I bought it says 9 out of 10 times its the pressure switch. Will pick one up tomorrow for $45. Hope it works.
  6. I have a 1999 Hot Spring SLX tub and can't figure out why I still get the low flow reading "FLO" on my display. I filled the tub with new clean water and cleaned the filter with GLB Filter Fresh chemical bath. Still got the low flow indicator instantly. I have one of those Tri-X filters which are supposed to be the best. Filter is a year or two old now. What can I do? With this readout the tub runs non stop and doesn't heat fully. Thanks, Doug
