I know this topic is pretty old, but I have the same spa (up and running) if you want pictures of the hose routing.

I bought an older baja spa a while back, and we were happy to finally get it up and going so we could use it (Had to replace motor and heater). I think I might have messed up big time though. I reused an old filter and now I am pretty certain we have run into the folliculitis problem. From what I am gathering I need to shock it, drain it, shock it again.. and of course replace the filter. Will this solve my problem? I am sure there are others here that have experienced this? Thanks for any help you all can offer.
