  1. Thanks PC. Hey Pool Clown, Hope all is well. Got a question on the Hayward Super II. About 12 months ago the pool company replaced an O-ring having pressure problems. They told me it was a $2 part but $75 service call was wondering if you could help isolate the issue. I have a spa and pool off the same motor. When the timer goes off in the morning the pump takes awhile to obtain full pressure or won't even happen some days. If I start running the spa first - let run a minute or so then over to pool - the pump goes to full PSI rather quickly and no issues. My question where is the JVA / O-ring replacement; do you know which seal needs to be replaces; is the a common problem? I saw some seals you sent on a previously send email. Thanks, John B
  2. I also have a T 15 Cell but with an Aqualogic controler. Maybe someone can help? Running the Diagnostic Menu the chlorinator appears to stop running after 30 minutes. It fires up but again stops running. I ran the super Chlorinating it ran for a few hours. Also. not getting any message like low temp; low salt, no cell etc. Is the thing actually running but the Diagnostic Memu reads are not accurate. Its been under 50 so have been adding manual chlorine Acid cleaned the unit out and it had some broken chips inside - just a few. What would cause the T15 to stop running after a short period of time. Its 3 years old now. Thx
  3. MRFIXIT, I looked at the unit and couldn't see anything clogged. Do I need to take the shell off to properly clean the louvers? Thanks
  4. Thx its been running fine but started again yesterday.. I will try the clean thing...Thanks for the help.
  5. I lost my tool to remove the Strainer Cover on a Hayward Super Pump II. Does anyone know where to purchase one of these? Does it have a product number? I cannot get a normal wrench into the place space and get enough leverage. Thx
  6. Not meaning to hijack this thread but also have a Hayward Super Pump. My issue it appears to be running fine for several hours, no noise and proper pressure but it shuts off. After 45 minutes or so it runs again. Could it be over heating and shutting down by itself? User manuals states this could be a reason. What could cause it to over heat? The basket and o ring is clean and all check out. Could something be caught causing it to run harder than normal thus over heating?
