Hey All -- I've been getting a sour smell around the top edge of my tub at the front. I've tried wiping it down with Clorox wipes, and have also used water from inside the tub (after adding chlorine up to 7ppm), and neither of those have helped. Yes, I've also wiped down the cover in that area. Does anybody have an idea of something better to deal with the smell? Maybe a rag with almost pure chlorine?... That's probably a bit harsh, but the smell really is unpleasant. Thanks! Dave

Thanks chem geek. I've been a tub owner for 2 years, and haven't paid a lot of attention to chemistry... fortunately, the tub has remained pretty nicely clean with the dosage of dichlor I've always given after each use (just my wife and I). However, coming across these threads makes me think I've been VERY lucky. I have the Taylor on order, and intend to get a strict regimen going when it gets here.

What, exactly, is the "dry acid" product that is referenced here? Is it just packaged as pH Decreaser?

Where did you find this price on the 365? I'm in the market for a 355, and am finding it for over $1000 more than you found for the 365! Dave
