  1. "but having three fail seems a little excessive" - you think? I have 4 E-10's on my bench. Well the motor, sans impeller. For some reason the bearing surface wears down and magnet starts rubbing on the casing - to the place where it won't spin up. Can I order a new impeller? Oh no, you have to buy a whole new pump for $180-$250. OK, just took a break, Spadepot, Grundfos $109+tax. I'll have to get some new tubing because Laing - in side, out center and Grundfos in center out side. Semi aside - last time I replaced my Laing I install a pair of 3/4" valves (plastic, red handle). One just after the flow switch and one in front of the heater. So, power off, both valves off and a my leisure remove the old pump, replumb/rewire etc. Now about the 2' of snow....
  2. I have an 850 also. Does your circulation pump come on? If only for a second. Could be the flow switch is bad. Is the smaller filter new? Hint: next time the tub is empty install valves inline with the heater line - one before the heater one after the flow sensor. That way when the circulation pump quits you don't have to drain the tub.
  3. Well, it's been running just fine for about 24 hrs now. I'm really thinking the wiring going into the flow switch - is that possible? Or the switch is dirty. I've been looking for just the screw in switch part - not a lot of luck.
  4. Sundance Optima 03'. The control panel says the circ pump is set to "Standard" and "24". But the pump only runs when heat is called for. When the tub comes up to temp, 102, the circ pump stops and the panel shows "FLO". At that time the other jet buttons don't work. If I shake the flow T the "FLO" changes to 102 and everything works - except for the 24 hour circulation. I've cleaned the llnes (best I can), when the circ pump IS running I get bubbles all the way across the bottom of the tub. Thoughts????? Thanks Chuck
