Opened my pool and I was missing one Hayward jet for my stairs and I was also missing the nylon ring for the other one. I herd if the jets are not properly installed it can cause water to leak out threw the air line and cause water loss, is that true??

A pressure switch is closed or open, its shorted or its not. Every time i have tested them i get no reading when its open (pump off) or i get 0.00 when the pump is on. If your getting a flc when you short the pressure switch is the pump on? as for it being in backwards the heater is always on the pressure side of the pump when it comes to gecko packs.

If you are getting no resistance at the pressure switch then it sounds like its stuck open, one way to test to see ifs its the pack is to remove the to wires on the switch and you can use a paper clip and short out the two leads, you will have to do this with the power on. If the flow message goes away then you know its the pressure switch if it does not then it a problem with the pack. The pack knows that it has sent voltage to the pump and if the pack does not see the pressure switch closed(shorted) then it will trip the FLO message.

Does anyone know who makes the waterfall valve on dx spa and were i might find it?
