There are several foam down products available. Use them sparingly to the point of diluting them with water 50/50 in a spray bottle. Thanks, then I just spray the mixure into the tub when the jets are on?

I had several friends over and someone did not head my warning about running their suit through the washer with no soap before getting in and I have soap bubbles. How can I get rid of them without draining the spa?

Since I started using my spa frog stick with bromine tabs I have been very happy. Everything is in the right range. Some background, I am only one using the tub 95% of time.I am in it every night for 15-20 minutes. I have an ozonator and 350 gallon tub. But I am only shocking my tub about 2x a week. This keeps bromine between 1-3 on my strips. I am using non chlorine shock. Should I shock more often and use less shock or should I just keep to the theory that less is good and keep up this regime?

I have switched now to a bromine spa and need to know about what level to keep the bromine using both the spa frog cartridge and an ozonator. TIA

or do they really help cut down on the chemicals? Is it just as easy to maintain a spa without them?

Thanks, I am thinking I will just convert it to a bromine spa for the time being. I just need to get some sodium bromide and ditch the N2 stick. That seems a lot easier than draining and refilling a hot tub that has only been up and running a month. If you prefer to use bromine and a mineral stick, use the Spa Frog or Leisure Time mineral purifier (which is a Spa Frog rebranded). Nature2 absolutely cannot be used with bromine. I can't imagine your dealer has you set up with this combination. Are you absolutely sure it is a Nature2 stick (yellow) and not a Frog (blue)? Even with a Frog you must follow normal bromine instructions except you can maintain a slightly lower bromine level. Yep, its for sure the yellow stick complete with directions about no using bromide with it!!

I was going to do that, I went to the spa space today, he talked me into checking bromine level, which is 0, and contine to run with the N2 stick. Right now it is crystal clear and everything is normal. I am using non chlorine shock daily and diclor once a week. All it ever had was 2 mini bromide tabs over a month ago. So if it continues to show no bromide level and remains clear I'll keep the present routine. If it starts showing bromine or gets cloudy again I will take out the n2 stick and use as a bromine spa until I refill it.

As to your other question: If you have a bromine spa and you want to start using chlorine you must drain it before making the change to chlorine. If you have a chlorine spa and you want to start using bromine you can simply just start using the bromine tabs without draining. So do I need a new Nature2 stick? I either need to drain it or go with a bromide system until it is time to drain it and then start over. At this point it might be easier to just get rid of the Nature2 stick and go with bromide for now. One more thing, it shows 0 for chlorine/bromide on my strips, so maybe I can just change it to a chlorine spa?

So can I just rinse it off really well or should I start all over? I added some diclor to it today.

I would see what your manufactuer recommends.. They are the ones who told me to use bromide.
