  1. This part has just begun to drip; it is in the top back inside of a triangular keysbackyard costco spa (which incidently has worked fine since last summer). Hmmm, I see can't post picture. It is an end connection on the group of jets at the back of the spa, a white tube about 2" long connected to the water lines that feed the jets; it just ends, there is nothing connected to the other end of it. One end of the tube has vents in it, I'm thinking to let air into the jets. But water is leaking out of it when the pump runs. What is it, an aeratorwith a ball valve inside? Is it designed not to let water out? Where would I get another one or would it hurt just to seal it up? Could it somehow be clogged open? Thanks a lot! Mike winchester va
  2. well you're going to have to supply more info, brand name of spa, model number, type and model number of heating/control system before any of the experts around here can help you i just got a new spa with the wrong filter and it sort of pops around and out now and then, are you sure you are using the right filter? mike

  4. well here's a place that sells that unit in australia, maybe they could offer some hints. unfortunately did not see a manual for it which is what you need: http://www.sparepairs.com.au/category74_1.htm not too much to do unless you are knowledgable about these things, aside from disconnecting the power, taking panel off and looking hard with strong flashlight for anything obvious, water, burn marks, loose wires, red reset button, etc. edit, oh wait those people above do have waterco manuals to download, see bottom of this page: http://www.sparepairs.com.au/webcontent12.htm# if you are into doing it yourself you will need to get a manual somewhere, maybe those guys in au can help. or google various versions of your unit number to find a manual or more help who wired it two weeks ago? can you check to see no loose power wires? did another breaker trip on the other side of the spa breaker? do you have a meter to check the spa is actually getting power? DANGEROUS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. good luck mike
  5. Something left over where a label was peeled off? Mike
  6. As it no doubt says in your manual linked above, after you select the mode you want you may have to confirm it by pressing a pump button. I have to do that with the Balboa VS system in my new Costco 3 person spa. Mike
  7. Just wondering, all these $14/bottle chemicals, what is the prevailing wisdom, especially from green people, about just using white vinegar to lower PH or baking soda to raise it? And for that matter, laundry bleach for sanitizing? A very open sensitive environmentalist here, a democrat and unitarian... Mike Winchester VA
  8. Hi All, new here. I did buy the Costco Infinity 3 person spa, delivered here in the VA mountains for $2000! I was half pleased, half disappointed when I got it, no insulation, dorky plastic sheet bottom, non treated wood. And the don't expose to sun notice was disheartening. But the only spa I had before was one I built out of 4x4"s and lined with epoxy and used a 115v home water heater for! I did use that one for ten years or so, it was all I had and was wonderful. But, I stuffed $30 of fiberglass in this new one, sprayed wood preservative over the bottom lumber, put on a plywood bottom, glued 4" of solid foam to that, flipped it over, filled it, and am enjoying it. Price was fantastic, we'll see how long it lasts. Haven't received the hard cover yet ("it's on the way") but I'd say a pretty good deal with the ozonator and hard cover. It has a Balboa VS501 series controller/heater. Mike
