it was at the house when we moved in 3 years ago. its pretty old at this point, but still works well!

so with the hurricane controller and this executive pump in a wind river spa, is there any way to make it run pump on low w/o heater being on? i have two buttons, one turns jets on high, the other turns lights on. the only time it comes on low is for the heater. its much nicer on low, anyway to make it cycle through the pump running on low?

it doesnt have a filter cycle. Its a wind river spa, some type of Hurricane controller, and the executive pump. Once I turn it on, the pump runs on low continously. The button will cycle it to high, then back to low, but low speed does not shut off when the heater shuts off as it used to. it has a switch for auto or timed as far as the pump is concerned i think. i always left it on auto which meant it would kick on low when the heater was on. Does that help? it seems that the controller is just not turning the pump off after the heater goes off like it should. but ive only replaced the pump, dont know how that could happen.

I just replaced an executive 56 frame spa pump (4hp, 230volt, 2 speed) in our tub. Works great, but the previous one would shut off when the heater shut off. turn it on, it runs on low speed while the heater is on and off, it never stops! any ideas why? The only oddity is that the previous pump had the low and high speed wires swapped as to what it said to wire it too. i dont see how this could make a difference though. plus i figure its best to leave it wired how they say to wire it. help please
