  1. Mike, The show was in Wilmington, MA. The local dealer was Crocker Sales in Woburn. I spoke to the Sales Manager at Crocker and he seemed knowledgeable. I am sure he gets calls like the one we had every time there is a NE show. He reassured me that the retail price for this spa with all the bells and whistles was around $13K, and that I saved around $1,500. The problem is that both me and my wife love the TV and the stereo built in, even at that cost. We would be the first on the block to have a hot tub with a TV, which is kind of cool. The kids are thrilled with it as well and I am sure they will be the ones using it the most. I just wanted to make sure we weren't getting completely ripped off, which it doesn't look like we really are. It seems like the biggest problem is that everyone feels deceived after going to one of the shows, but after getting over that, enjoys their hot tub for the most part. Thanks for your advice, Jim

  4. Thank you Chris & Roger. We are going to put the order on hold and do some research.
  5. Went to a pool and spa expo in Massachusetts just to look at hot tubs. At the time, we did not realize it was one manufacturer (Master Spa) who does this misleading type of marketing. We ended up putting a deposit on a Down East Hot Tub. The model was a Windsor STS with a DVD player, CD player, Ipod input, etc. - It looks great and we were told we would get every option, including the cover, steps and original supplies. The Manager Jim, told us that it retails for around $13K, but he would sell it to us for $11,450. He said that price is the lowest he would go and was actually $750 lower than what the original salesman we spoke to was authorized to sell it to us for. We were not sold the floor model because that was already sold, but we were told we would be getting a brand new one. My questions are... Did we get a good deal on this hot tub and is it a good hot tub?
