  1. We have a Polaris 65 for our 24' agp. Love it. Used to use one of the standard suction type cleaners that hook up to the pool return. But it couldn't clean the walls or steps so you would end up with a nice clean bottom and still have to scrub the walls and cove area. Switched to a polaris and it cleans everything as it hooks up to the pressure side and blasts the dirt off the floor, sides, steps, etc. The bag picks up any leaves and the stray toys the kids forget to get out of the pool. Great find. Find it on Ebay for around $100.00
  2. When I ordered my hot tub from Master Spa (Down East Model 2004), I had the option whether to have it full foam or with the standard paneling at no extra cost. After listening to many opinions, I decided I wanted the full foam (hey, why not, it was free!). I believe my electric bill raises about 25-30 dollars with the hot tub on standard and using 3-4 times a week. May be harder to work on, but I've always felt that the full foam helps supports the pipes. Four years old and no leaks. Wish I could say the same for the jets/circuit board/ etc.
  3. Found a site.... Thanks everyone for all their helpful info!!!!!!!!!!1
  4. Thanks for the site. The jet is similar but is doesn't match the other blaster that I have. Oh well, I may have to mismatch them if I can't find one. Here is a pic of mine. As you can tell from the second pic, every one of the snap in locks have sheared off. If I can't find a replacement, would a product like Waterweld (from jb weld) work in putting it back together??
  5. I'm looking for a face plate for the Master Blaster foot jet for a 2004 Down East Windsor. Grey color. Made by GG Industries. I have the part number, but can't find any online dealer (or Ebay) that carries this jet line. Any one know of a site? Why online and not from my local dealer? Because he refuses to work on my spa and I don't want to do anymore business through him. Tried contacting Master Spa by email but no response yet......
  6. Yep......fuse was bad. Oh well, needed practice in soldering I guess
  7. I need to replace a relay on a Balboa MS2000 circuit board. Just to clarify, are these relays "soldered" into the board or are they just pushed into a socket. I've got the replacement relay in hand but the contacts look small and unlike other relays that I've seen with the wide contacts. Thanks.
  8. My brand of spa was Down east by Master spa. Model Windsor SE. Nice big tub, but never would I do it again. I took the option of having the factory blow in the foam insulation rather than just using the panels. Seems to be a good choice as I don't see the high electric bills or leaks that others have seen. But, as soon as I get a replacement relay for it, it is going up for sale. Nice tub, but worthless to me since I can't find anyone to work on it. There are 3 other spa dealers in the area and NOT ONE will work on another tub regardless of price. So, had to fix it myself. Bought sensors myself and had to send the control board to an AZ spa tech to get repaired. He did a great job and I would refer anyone for help. Email if you would like more info. The dealer was Factory Direct Pools and Spas out of Steelville Missouri. Now I'm considering switching to a dry sauna......... Udate: Here is the email from master spa........... they were so helpful -------Original Message------- From: Jennifer Christ Date: 2/4/2008 8:28:21 AM To: 'hdivr@*********.com' Subject: RE: Question for Tech support - Where to find replacement relay? Good Morning, I am sorry to tell you that anything to do with the electrical in the spa; I am unable to give you any of that information. This will have to come from your dealer and or electrician. Due to liability, we are not able to give this information out to the consumer or spa owners. I am sorry that I could not have been more assistance for you; these are all questions that should be fielded through a dealer. I see that you will not work with the dealer that sold you the spa. There may be some difficulty getting anyone else to your home to work on your spa. The closest dealer, besides your dealer is in Jefferson City. The closest service center is in Union. I will include the contact information for both; just know that the trip fees may be substantial. Have a Blessed Day! Jennifer Christ Customer Service Master Spas, Inc. Here is my reply: I've already ordered the part through another manufacturer. Needless to say, I tried to work with the dealer. Kind of hard to work with him when he doesn't show for appts or yells at you on the phone telling you to "find another dealer because all parts on YOUR spa are the same as any other and you don't need to work with a Master spa dealer". So I did what he said and ordered the part from your competition. Customer service like this will be noted on all the spa boards on the net. BTW.....this was the second time I emailed you about this problem and you didn't respond to the first. End:
  9. The only point that I would add.........the dealer is more important than the tub. I bought a hot tub which was cheaper initially than the competition. However, the dealer wouldn't service after the sale. Even during warranty, he would constantly miss appointments, no phone calls etc. After the warranty, he finally got to the point of saying "Find someone else to work on your hot tub!!!!" Nice to hear 3 years after you bought an almost 7,000 hot tub from him. For example, had a sensor go out.... Normally a 35.00 part, right. But no, he wanted TWO service calls at 85 bucks and hour (one to "diagnose" the problem and one to "install" the new sensor + part for 60 bucks. Tried to contact the company and they never even had the courtesy to contact me back. Learn from others, I would prefer to pay the extra money now and buy from the longest running store in your area.....regardless of make.
  10. Replaced relay but unfortunately that didn't fix the problem. Must be the circuit board, right?
  11. Udate: I just checked voltage in the circuit board jack. The white wire is showing 110v but the black wire isn't showing any voltage at all. Would this verify that relay is bad. It still clicks but motor won't spin. Thanks.
  12. I have a Down East Windsor SE that the #3 pump won't turn on. Light on topside control light up but does not run. I don't see a fuse for that specific pump and can't find a detailed manual of the circuit board - Balboa MS2000 which shows relays for each pump. Motor has been checked out and runs fine when seperate power is applied. Anyone know exactly where the Pump 3 Relay for the motor is located on the board?? Is the relay circled in red the right one?? Anyone have a detailed diagram of the circuit boards from Balboa. Thanks
