  1. I have a nature2 cartridge in my spa and it seems to work pretty good, however in the instructions it say not to be used in water above 38degC, I like my spa at 39 - is this going to be an issue? What will happen if my spa is at 39 degrees?
  2. What is it with the delivery times? I see people on here have to wait several weeks for a spa and one as long as eight weeks!!! Are the dealers useless??? I bought my spa on a Wednesday morning, and it was delivered that evening, filled it and had my first dip tuesday morning. I couldn't handle waiting so many weeks. Enjoy your new investment
  3. The part one had too much slanging and usless bickering on it for my liking, especially over something that has very little importance. I don't really care if I bought a spa with or without a circ pump, both systems work equally well (tho if I bought one without it would be a must to have a 2 speed pump for midnight noise issues - i currently have a spa without a circ pump - just a 2 speed, right outside my bedroom I can't hear it start at all) and it would not be a feature either way that would sway me, I think other features have much greater importance. I found this page which is quite interesting, down the bottom the guy figures the costs against each other. http://www.angelfire.com/mi2/hottubs/chemicals.html
  4. I just bought a spa and it's let me down quite a lot. The salesman said it gives a great massage and is very powerful, however it seems very mild to me. Unfortunatly I didn't wet test it before I bought it I tried a spa with a pump half the HP, but it seemed much more powerful. The extra pressure comes in when u turn the air tap on (which all of you probably know) What I want to know is, why does it feel more powerful when air is put in, and where is the air brought into the water flow? - At the jet? Before the pump? After the pump? Am wondering if I could mod mine to do the same thing. Thanks Ben
  5. I'm looking at buying a coast islander, I like the pool, but the biggest issue I possibly see is the small paper filter (25sqft) alot of spas I've seen seem to have 50 or 100 sqft filters. I've never owned a spa before so don't really know what I'm on about - just after some opinions. The spa has 18 jets and a 3 hp pump - is 25sqft liable to block up frequently? Any other issues I should be aware of? Is the filter size worth worrying about? Thanks Ben
