  1. Several years later - but after experiencing a lot of the same symptoms described here (relay board failing over and over, only a few months apart, seemingly no other symptoms), I tried @NotaFanofWatkins's hack on a 220V setup, and by george, the hot tub is back to heating. Thanks to you, and others on here whose patience and knowledge helps the otherwise helpless (like me) 🌡️

  2. Yes there is an o-ring or a gasket o-ring in there. You can use a flat head screwdriver and a small hammer and gently tap on the nubs to tighten if you don't have an oil filter wrench. I don't see a gate valve plumbed in so you would have to drain the spa to replace the gasket/oring

  3. UPDATE: It was running fine and then the circulation pump stopped. The FLO error was showing. I applied 240v to the negative pin on the control board and the pump started and everything kicked in and the jets started up etc.. Came back an hour later and the same thing so again I gave a quick touch to the neg pin on the control board and the cir pump started but would not stay. I click the voltage to the neg pin and then looked at the control panel and it still showed FLO but the flow switch was closed. At this point I have to assume the flow switch is indeed bad. Hope that fixes the cir pump staying on the programmed 24hrs run time.

  4. Spa Access: Twelve years ago I built steps to access the side of our H2X. They are easily skidded away if access to panels is needed, plus seem perfect for enter at side away from the sloping seats at end. After years of new varnish every summer I plan to paint it green this year.

  5. Drain water and add water. Not very efficient and time consuming. Tried the frozen gallon jugs and it takes more than I can fit into a freezer to lower the temperature only a couple degrees. They make pool water coolers but they are expensive. When the water temperature is 90 degrees you cannot swim laps in the swim spa. It's useless as a swim spa in the hot summer months which here by the gulf is June through September.
