I noticed the pump has a grinding noise here and there. Sometimes you start it and it is super quiet. Other times it is loud, almost like a vibration. Would a bad pump cause low pressure therefor no heating? Anybody?

Serial numver is WQ1C1131 Model WQ The serial number on the control box is 0305 2520. The control box says brand is Gecko, model SSPA-1-p121-01 so I am assuming the 01 at the end is the year. Today I tested voltage across the two electrodes and it was zero. So the only voltage I am getting on the heater is on the right side lead when it is NOT connected to the heater. I drained the tub and pulled the heater. tube. I didn't see any damage, but I wasn;t able to get the element out of the tube. When it drops down in it is like the electrodes are too long to let it slide out so I didn;t want to damage it.

An update. Today I did some testing. No voltage on either terminal for the heater. I pulled the circuit board out and nothing look burned or anything. It looked great. I then hooked power back up and tested the terminals without them connected to the heater and had voltage on one of them, nothing on the other. This is leading me to believe either A. a problem with the board, or B. a problem with the heater element, even though it has continuity. Anyone???

Recently got a free HotSpot SLXtra. Somewhere around 2000 is the best I can figure. It is converted to 30 amp. 30 amp GFCI breaker. Jumpers all on 1/2. Jets work on high and low speed. No error codes. I have tried jumping the pressure switch and unplugging the pressure switch. They do result in FLO and FLC codes. I tried adjusting it both ways up and down. I removed leads from heater and tested and had continuity across the terminals. I checked for ground fault and there was none. No rust on the outer heater tube or anything. I removed filter. Water seems to be getting sucked in the same with and without it. I don't see any burns on front of circuit board and don't think it has any lights even there. It WILL, if left alone for 10 minutes kick on low speed jets. I have been manually turning the jets to low speed instead of waiting for it to turn on automatically, not sure if that matters. I left it on for 8 hours yesterday. Temp has remained at 53 degrees. Was at 49 when I filled it with about 78 degrees ambient during the day and 60 degrees at night. I don't believe the red light on the top panel for circulation is coming on but it may be burnt out too, not sure. I bought a new pressure switch that will be here in a few days. Figured why not. Any other ideas or things I can try? My next step is to drain it and pull the heater element and circuit board and visually check them.
