  1. Hi There I'm in Canada (BC).. I can get the Aria for 10 500 including the hydralic cover and steps but no sound system (I don't need one) I was told the Vanguard was a bit cheaper but seems to be the same price if I upgrade the filters to be the ones that can go in the dishwasher and last for approximately 4-5 years. I did not price the Sovereign... sorry. Hope it helps.. Lady Faye P.S.. Did you like your hot springs spa... was it good quality? I'm currently in the market to buy...
  2. I should also mention the price... the Hot Springs Spa (model Aria) is selling for $10 500... not cheap.. but is the quality there? It has an ozone system, silver ion technology and the filters can go in the dishwasher... (must admit.. I like that feature) Lady Faye
  3. Hi All My hot tub froze up and was an ice cube this winter. I'm seriously considering a new hot tub. A very reputable dealer in my area carries Hot Spring Spas. My priorities include quiet operation while not in use (the circ pump therefore appealed to me) as we have a bedroom underneath the deck and the purge cycle wakes me up. The hot tub is at my cabin and we do get temperatures to -15C. I'm only up there once a month in the winter, but do not have internet or Wifi... as it is out of range. (I've been keeping up with the discussion regarding newbie and his hot tub purchase and saw the Artic technology) We do have an Artic dealer in town but I have yet to visit them. My question is:... what do you think of the quality of a Hot Springs Spa? They have the two breakers so that if the heater failed, the pumps would still circulate. I think I will put a little thermostat heater inside the shell as a precaution next time.... who knew??? Given my situation... what do you think of a Hot Springs tub vs Artic or other brands (for that matter)? Any help is appreciated. Thanks Lady Faye P.S.. I agree with a former post... why can't they make a hot tub that fully drains so that antifreeze would not be required? Would it not be smarter to put the circ pump with the heater circuit so that you still have some movement if the pump breaker fails? The heater could then stay on?? That way if either breaker went... the tub would not freeze....
