  1. You'd think it would trip all the time instead of running all day and then tripping only early in the morning from 3am to 5am. The heater is heating the water and the ozonator seems to be working...I don't doubt what you are saying but this seems odd...don't you think??
  2. Hi all, its been awhile since I was here last. The last 4 days my tub has been tripping off in the early mornings. Have never had a problem with it, but this is frustrating. I have added no new applicances that would trip the breaker but when I go out each morning for the last 4 mornings the tub is off and the breaker is tripped. Any ideas? Thanks.
  3. I have used the Microban filters if that is what you are referring to. Mine were pretty expensive and I dont know that they are much different than regular filters. Replacing filters 3-5 months, it seems to me, very expensive. If you keep your chemicals right your water will be crystal clear even with regular filters. Just depends on how much you want to spend. I have paid 52.00 for the micorban filters and regular replacement filters pleatco or what have you run 21.00-35.00. My filters have lasted since I got the tub in August. I just wash them off with a garden hose or kitchen sink sprayer each week. They do need a thorough cleaning though now so I just ordered some filter cleaner to soak them in. Anyway, that is just my 2cents worth. Good luck.
  4. Cosmo, I did not use Baqua but used Soft Soak from SpaGuard which is similar and I got the same thing, the gooy peanutbuttery substance. It was because my ph was too high and alkalinity was too low. I was for awhile any way, constantly testing my tub until I got my ph down and my Alkalinity in check. It was a challenge, but after that it was pretty simple. Our city water is way high in the ph area, 8.4 so we used alot of spa down to get the ph in check. Which means the alkalinity was always out of wack as well. I think if you spend the time to get those two things incheck the goo will go away. Good luck. edit: ozone. We kept our ozone on all the time.
  5. This could be true but I find it strange that some areas will ship to Alaska and some refuse. Some companies ship to Alaska with a minimum charge while other companies for the same amount of products charge and arm and a leg. So I think it all depends on the Company you deal with.
