I have an Intex Metal Frame 12' x 39" pool. We are going away for vacation for a week, and I was looking for suggestions on maintaining the pool so that we don't come back to an algae pond. Our neighbors might or might not be available, and I'm looking to worse case scenario that they're not available. This means that there will be no one to plug in/unplug the filter, check the levels and chlorinate the pool for six days. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I should add that we do have a solar cover that does a good job of keeping most of the debris out of the pool.
