  1. As for chlorine its HTH granular chlorine. Not sure which kind it is. Any idea? lol after rereading your post it looks like it may be dichlor. So I will try to get my alk up to 100 tomorrow. Then see where my ph i at that point. Also I notice my hardnss is a bit low at 80 will; that rise on its own or should I try to bring it up with chemicals. Edit: Just checked my bottle and it has calcium hypochloride in it so that must be cal-hypo im using? I may have spelt the hypo word wrong just read it quick. Well 1 more question to add. Is adding chlorine every 2 days to bring it back up, normal? I noticed after having 6 kids and 2 adults in the pool all day my FC dropped from 5 to .5-1.

  4. ok first off hello everyone. This is my first pool. Its a 15 x 36 intex metal frame. Gonna upgrade next year when the kids are older. So I ran all the test 36 hours after adding Stabilizre, PH plus and granular chlorine. The test where taken with an HTH 6 way test kit. Results: PH = 7.2 Chl = 5 Alk = 50 I have read baking soda should bring it up. CH = 80 CYA = 30 Please help me level these out as im sure they could use some adjusting. Edit: also this was the HTH drop kit not the test strips.
