The Bromine cartridges are consumed just like Chlorine. When it is empty then you should hear nothing, just empty. I have heard of instances where this has happened. I'm using a spa frog for the first time. When do you know to change the bromine cartridge? They say 2 to 4 weeks. I'm going on 6 weeks and my bromine levels are fine and when I remove the cartridge and shake it - it still has something in it. Will it fell empty when it is all used up? thanks
