  1. Of course it is the circ pump and the tech did not have one on the truck. It had to be ordered. I really hope the circ line don't freeze. The other lines have pumps that work and won't have a problem. Tub has only dropped 10 degrees in 2 days.
  2. Well no joy. The circ motor is not running even though the panel says it is, then a RHNF error is displayed aka POPPED!. I took the rear off of the cheesy circ otor and there appears to be some singe marks where the power leaves the control board to he actual motor. I hope the local repair guy has parts in stock and can get here tomorrow. It should be covered under the 5yr warranty.
  3. Try this: Turn the GFCI completely off. Remove the grey cap from the purple filter (the middle one), make sure the water level is high enough and turn the spa back on.. the tub will completely reset itself to factory settings and go through the routine of start up. Should purge all the lines and without the grey cap on the purple filter, the the circulation pump no restriction. If this doesn't solve the problem, then your circ pump is either dead or potentially has some air in the lines. Hope this helps. Joe I don't think it will help, but I sure as heck am going to try this now! Thanks for the idea.
  4. More worried about the circ pump and having a line freeze at this point.
  5. Last night during my nightly soak, the spa breaker tripped. It has NEVER happened in the year I owned the spa. I reset it and noticed that the circ pump flow seemed to be much less than normal (I have pop ups that run off of the circ) Artesian Piper Glenn ~2010 model. Today I took off the side because I noticed that the Ozone bubbles seemed to have stopped. While examining the ozone system, a RHFL code popped. Fine, I replaced the filters and the RHNF seemed to go away. I figured the Ozone was bad so I just purchased a rebuild kit and it will be here this week. Well tonight the circ flow really bothered me and the RHNF popped again. So, I decided to do a power cycle. Now I do not have any circulation aka no heat too. Do circ pumps slow down then die? Anything to try to hold me over until Monday when I can get tech out? I gotta hope this is under warranty.
  6. Where do you find lithium hypochlorite? I am curious as to the price differential.
  7. Well, I hate to raise this topic from the dead but I have a Clorox allergy. I tried eliminating everything and it has come down to the clorox. If I use di or tri chlor, I do not have an issue. But as soon as I introduce the clorox, my rash gets irritated. I eliminated everything except the Bleach and foamout. Last night I used foam out and I had no reaction, so it must be something in the clorox. I really like that method, but it does not like me. Are there any other bleaches to try? Some background: I check my water daily with my Taylor test kit and even brought samples to my local dealer. She only had me raise the alkalinity a bit (80-120), but that didn't help. The chlorine level has NEVER dropped to 0. The bather load is low. Usually just me on a daily basis and sometime company every once in a while.
  8. Thanks PG. Glad to know it is not an error.
  9. Still seeking help on this one. I thought I had a handle on this one, but today I found out I didn't. Today when the Circ pump was not on, I noticed the display showed the "flashing" circ pump indicator instead of the normal "progressive" flash. Any insight out there?
  10. Still having a problem with my artesian. The rhNF problem was corrected with a new heater. But the 24 hour circ pump doesn't run 24 hours. I will go to the spa and find the indicator on, but the pump not running. The circ is set for a start of 8AM, with a duration of 12 hours and a frequency of 2. That should work out to 24 hours of run time. Do we have any Artesian/Gecko repair folks here? Thanks!!
  11. Picked up one of these dirt cheap. I'll rig it up in a box and see how it works out. http://www.medicalresources.com/shopping/proddisplay.asp?catalogid=809
  12. Since you are looking for specific information on apparently a specific device, you should have mentioned that in your initial post so people wouldn't waste their time trying to help you based on the lack of information in the initial post. Thanks for your helpful post. I am open to any suggestion, but I KNOW there was talk of the peristaltic pump and the Liquidator and was wondering if anyone followed through OR went and found a better option. Thanks again.
  13. I was really looking for someone who has experience with a peristaltic pump used for bleach. There was some talk awhile ago, but did anyone test it? Once the daily dose is set, the only additional bleach is when the spa is used and I can teach the rest of the family that part.
  14. I know there has been talk of this before, but has anyone built and tested one yet? I am finding myself in need of a setup. I go away for work often and the wife and kids have no idea nor desire to take care of my spa. I would love a simple method to give it a daily dose of bleach, and I can manually add more when the demand exists.
  15. I just punted. After a little research, it seems the in.therm unit is bad. I bought a replacement and will replace. If it is defective, I will have to figure out how to get either my $$ back or another spare.
