Does anyone use a salt tester they could recommend?
Our Aqua-Rite seems flakey.
Sunday it sd 2600 so I put 2 bags of salt in and made a note to ck the salt level in the morning.
Monday's reading sd 3500 on salt.
I am not trusting my AquaRite reading right now.
Thanks in advance.
I am wondering what is the benefit of purchasing "pool salt" over other types of salt for sale at Home Depot. Salt prices for 40# range from 4.79 to 6.79 where I live. There are:
"extra coarse solar"
"system saver II pellets"
"pool salt"
"red out pellets with iron fighter forumla"
This is the link to what is at my Home Depot.

Thanks in advance.
OK I have the contract which was signed in July 03 out. Previous owner installed pool.
Lemme see if I can figure this out. It says "Pump 2 HP Whisperflow" and "Filter 60 DE". Does that help at all?
As far as the scoop, it came with the bag of DE. I just measured it at your request and it came out to 4 cups.
Thanks.
We ordered some of those little flexible replacement rings for the Letro Pool Cleaner Legend tail since they were worn down. I think the diagram in the Letro Legend book shows only 3 on the tail; that doesn't seem like very many. Does anyone else have a Legend and if so how many of the replacement rings do you have on the tail?
Some of ours were very worn and others were not worn hardly at all.
Thanks in advance.
We have a 15K gallon inground pool. We cleaned the DE filter as we do every so often. There was quite of bit of clean DE crammed together up at the top of the filter. We were told by the pool company that when we put DE in, to put in 10-12 scoops. Does that sound right? Perhaps it is too much?
Thanks in advance.
