  1. Why am I not surprised? None of us should be suprised. Its been a great hot tub. The warranty on the cover was just rediculous. I've had the tub for almost three years.
  2. Sorry forgot about this post. Manufacturer is Cal covers. The hot tub is Master Spas.
  3. What I mean by cushion is what you find when you unzip the spa cover. The vinyl is not ripping it is the threads falling apart.
  4. My hot tub cover is 2 years old and the seams are coming apart. Anytime we have heavy rain my tub takes on water. I have been wiping the cover with a softener and have turned the cushions at least once in two years. I sent pictures to my dealer so that he can send it to the cover manufacturer for warranty work. The warranty is three years and states you must turn the cushions every three months. My dealer doesn’t think they will honor the warranty. Has anyone gone through this?
  5. Charmingboots is in the wrong site.
  6. Maybe your monthly bills are that high but my bills has never exceeded $4o. Avg. $20-40.
  7. Good comment: I am getting so sick of reading how poorly insulated the Master Spas are. You don't have to even be that smart to realize that the spa cover is the most important aspect of heat retention. I've had my Master Spar for over 1 year now and it runs perfectly and my monthy heating bills are well within the range that my dealer told me it would be.

  10. Too much is made about insulation. Your tub looses most of its heat by using it or through the cover. HOT AIR RISES! Most tubs are insulated well. Your cost to operate the tub is based on usage. If you want to save money make sure you have a good cover.
