  1. I had a fiberglass pool installed 3 years ago by majestic pools in Greenport, N.Y., great job, great people to deal with. Two items that I used to finish the pool included Vas-tec fiberglass pool coping and Ramuc pool deck coating, both great products and worth looking into. If you use the vas-tec take your time and play with the coping before actually using it. The finished product looks great and gives the transition from pool to deck a nice clean look. The Ramuc deck coating looks great and keeps your deck from getting hot. Again two great products worth looking into!!
  2. DO NOT get involved with Florida North out of Esperence ny. Bad business people with a capital B. Trust me, I gave them a deposit of 8,300.00 on a fiberglass pool that they never could install. Too cold, relative sick, no insurance, color on backorder. Call Majestic pools in greenport ny. They did my pool in 2 days and did everthing just as planned.
  3. Dear Vaughn, I to did many years of research after growing up with a liner pool. I just had a 16x38x8 fiberglass pool installed and believe me when I say fiberglass is the way to go. The install crew was very professional and did a great job. 2 day job. easy to clean, no worries about the liner ripping, just a much better product in my mind, quite a bit more money but worth it. good luck! :)
  4. two months, one week, out $8067.00.no pool, lots of promises, several lies, these guys are the worst. do not deal with Florida North. they used to be great, something changed. actually going to file criminal charges against them. avoid the headache and heartache, use another dealer. david allen [email protected] please feel free to contact me about Florida North
  5. poolandspadude, thanks for the reply. could not agree more! grew up with an inground, liner pool, never had any real problems, but installation and maintence of a fiberglass unit makes them a win, win.
  6. ed3553, Thanks for the advice. I agree with your thoughts, though my wife and the pool company are kinda pushing for the white. Anyone else out there have any opinions as to white vs. blue?
  7. I am in the process of purchasing a fiberglass pool and I can't decide whether or not to have the pool colored blue or just go with white. I am worried that the white is going to look to much like a bath tub.Any and all replies will be appreciated. thanks
