  1. Our store doesn't have it's own installers. They have a listing of referred sub-contractors that you can pick from. Since posting this they have said they will replace the liner, and they are considering replacing only a portion of the water cost. The installers finally returned our calls on Friday and say they will be here on Wednesday to fix the pool. In the mean time our yard is like a muddy swamp from the leaking water, combined with several weeks of rainy weather. The sand around the pool is starting to smell like stagnent water, so hopefully once everything is fixed on Wednesday we'll get a dry stretch & be able to get our landscaping (weed barrier & stones) down. Who ever would have thought that your lifelong dream could turn into such an unpleasant experience! Hopefully once this is behind us, we'll have many years of enjoyment like you have.
  2. Thanks for the well-wishes. The pool store is going to provide a replacement liner, but is still not on-board with paying for the water. They're talking about cover 1/2 the cost of the water. Our yard is a mud pit from the leaking water & sand around pool is starting to smell like stagnent water...we really can't do anything until the problem is fixed.

  4. Had new pool installed Saturday before last. First liner was in & started filling pool...installer discovered seam separation. 1 1/2 hours to & from pool store to get replacement liner while installers waited. Finished installation & a week & a half later, 2nd liner is leaking. Is anyone aware of problems with Swimline boulder print liner? Installer hasn't called us back in three days to line up replacement & we are concerned that we have a brand new, but unusable pool that no one will stand by? What is our legal recourse regarding the pools store paying for another $400 of water and to pay another liner repair crew if we can't get the original crew to respond. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
