Thanks PS558! Would you know about what it would cost to have it replaced by a local electrican? Just a range? They are both made by Pentair. The sam light is brither because it uses two bulbs and a color wheel to change the colors. A LED light has more colors and options but not as bright.

I am a nubee here and wanted to know of anyone here has first hand experience with "seeing the difference" between a SAM light vs. an Intellibrite LED pool/spa fixture? I just completed replastering my pool and during contruction repair the pool light motor died (common as they built up moisture and kill the motor inside). So I want to make sure that the LED light IS indeed brighter. Seems the "ole" timers are telling me the SAM is brighter than the Pentair LED "intellibrite or intellibright" ......Greatly appreciated !
