  1. I live in Florida and an above ground pool split four ways is pretty affordable. I have just heard some horror stories about them and that they are a waste of money. That's an interesting idea about installing it halfway in the ground. I've never heard of anything like that before. I'm pretty sure in Florida we have to be careful about how far down we dig for pools because the water level is only a few feet from the soil. Not sure though as I am not a pool builder.
  2. I live with three roommates and we bought a house that did not come with a pool. We have a huge fenced in backyard and are looking at possibly a above ground pool. As I quickly browsed this thread I saw people have many problems. An In-ground pool is completely out of the question, but is an above ground pool a good investment? It looks like a lot of people have many problems. We just want a way to be able to use our backyard in the middle of summer. Is it a good idea?
  3. Hi, I work for a sales quoting software company in the marketing department. First, let me say that I am not trying to sell anything. We have had some Pool builders in the past couple weeks buy our software and I was assigned the task to see if this is a vertical that we should market towards. I am just trying to figure out if the builders, contractors, and/or dealers in here use quoting software or not. I figured a forum where users can be anonymous would give me some valuable information. If you wouldn't mind leaving your experience or a yes or no answer to if you use sales quoting software I would appreciate it. I will not contact you unless you email me asking for my help. Thanks.
