Transition From Vinyl Liner To Concrete Steps Seal

I am planning a vinyl-liner pool build. It will be a concrete formed wall pool with outside concrete steps. I do not like the plastic steps and want to form outside concrete steps and plaster them. I would like to form a "U" shaped gasket/track seal around the steps as you do with the plastic kit steps. I am planning to use Trex screwed to the inside of the form wall in the "U" shaped pattern prior to the concrete pour so you will have a sealed solid surface to screw to and to place the gasket and track for the liner. I cannot find the Track sold by itself. Is there a builder that has done something similar and could tell me if this is a plausible idea and where to obtain the track.

Try Kafko. Not sure which company we use but we do hybrid pools with gunite steps and sun shelfs and whatnot and the rest of the pool is all liner
