NewNickels55 Posted June 10, 2013 Report Posted June 10, 2013 We used our hot tub for the first time in a few wekks last night. Kids got in, I ran to grab something in the house. Come back out, the kids are standing in the tub freaking out. Behind one of the headrests a bajillion or so ants decided that was a good nesting spot. I got the kids out and spashed the ants with the water. Spent the next 20 minutes skimming dead ants from the hot tub. Removed the headrest and cleaned it off. Guess who will be opening the hot tub cover weekly and checking for bugs before getting in from now on... this guy! That was a first, and hopefully a last - yuck Quote
Spa_Guru Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 Gotta love springtime. It's pretty unusual for ants to nest under a headrest unless there is food there, a spider nest hatching would be more common. Quote
