Mrleee2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 My brand new Dimension D1 Journey pulls water into the filter only for the first 5 minutes of the 60 minute cycle when it is on high. After 5 minutes it automatically goes into a lower mode that is on for the remaining 55 minutes of the filter cycle. In this mode there is no water pulled into the filter. Dimension One Service claims this is normal and not a warranty issue but my water is cloudy & clearly not being filtered. I am at an impasse with Dimension One Service. The dealer says his hands are tied without support from D1. Any ideas? Quote
d1dennis2009 Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Do you have ozone installed? Maybe you should ask them to help you address the issue with water quality, there are likely other reasons for your issue. The spa sounds like it is functioning normal, first 5 minutes are high speed and the remainder of the 1 hr in low speed. Quote

I wonder if you're assuming so because of water quality issues and because on low speed you don't see the water turbulance that is obvious with the pump on high. I'd suggest you get a little food coloring and while on low speed put a few drops next to the filter and see if it gets drawn into the filter. Quote
