Water Cloudy After A Short Holiday

I am using the Beachcomber Carefree System and have never had a problem. We left for a short holiday on Thursday and then this AM when I opened the hot tub it was cloudy. (I usually leave a floater in when we go away but I forgot) There was a bit of sludgy stiff in the filter sock. I dumped some chlorine in there and the chlorine is not high. I have rinsed the filter a few times today. Is there any way to fix my water and not have to dump it????
