I have a 2007 Hot Springs Vanguard 2007 Hot Tub/Spa and am having a problem with a re-occurring random power shut off. Just prior to the current shut down, the red power button was on and the green ready button was on. I had not used it for 3 days and daily checks showed the red power button was on and the green ready button was on. The temperatur indicator was and had been a constant 102deg. When I used it today, I turned the unit on(both jets 1 & 2) and it ran ok for about 15-20 minutes and then it just shut down. The green ready button has gone off and the red power button was blinking red. When I shut the breakers off and flip them back on, the unit comes on again and the red power button comes back on and the green ready button comes back on. It will now remain like this and the unit will appear to be ok---(it will go thru the maintenance cycle and the temp. is being maintained). I have just recently replaced all 5 filters and also replaced the ozone injector. Any thoughts/suggestions as to what the problem might be with this random power shut off? Thanks for any help!

Take out the filters, and see if the problem perists. I know you've recently bought them, but in order to rule out a dirty filter (which is quite liikely the problem) just remove them, and place the caps back on. In fact, if you'll notice, one of the filter standpipes is an "open ended". You can just remove that particular filter, and put the cap back on, and leave the other filter in place. See if the problem vanishes. If so, just really clean that filter.

Thanks, I'll try that and see what happens. That "open ended" one is the one I use to insert the silver ion sanitizer in. I always follow the manufactors instructions for use of this sanitizer--I change it every 4 months when I drain the spa. One other odd thing is also happening when this random shutoff happens. The spa lights remain on but pushing the + or - controls does not work anymore. I don't use the Spa Lock so that's not causing lose of spa light control. I had also been using the summer mode of temp control but have turned that off during winter months. I'm also using the Freshwater concentrated chlorinating granules for maintenance after each use which is about every 3-4 days. This provides an odor free water but I'm wondering if I should be using something else in addition to the chlorinating granules. I started out using the dealer recomended MPS but that left me with a bad water smell so I switched to the chlorinating granules only! Should I might be using something else in addition to the chlorinating granules? tks....
