I am looking for information on the relative pros and cons of using different oxidizers in conjunction with a 2-step bromine program. From what I understand, bleach (chlorine), diclor, or MPS can all be used. Is this correct? Are there any advantages and disadvantages of using each of these?

Thanks

Any of those can be used to oxidize bromide to bromine. The MPS will be the most acidic of the three, followed by Dichlor, and then bleach. So your target TA level would be higher for MPS and lower for Dichlor and lowest for bleach and you would probably want an additional pH buffer such as 50 ppm borates if you use bleach as the oxidizer.
