jdavis Posted March 2, 2013 Report Posted March 2, 2013 We have the 94 Soverign. Recently fixed light lens leak and installed new components with Balboa new guts. It works fine but has developed a leak, not sure where. It is not in light lens. It is dry under front where components are located. It does not leak when pump is not on. Looking for suggestions where this year spa might be leaking and how I can troubleshoot to find it. It is a good spa and new parts are great so what to try and keep if I can fix leak? Looking for suggestions. Thanks as always for any help. Quote
Spa_Guru Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 If it isn't leaking when the main jet pump is on, the leak is in your suction line. You are probably in for blocking it up and digging for the leak. Quote
spatech (the unreal one) Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 But if its a hot springs all the water gets drawn in thru the filters so if its on the suction side it may not be too tough ot get to. I might let the spa leak and see what the final water level is which will point to the level where the leak resides even though it does point to the suction side. Quote
