Salt Water Pool/spa Maintanance And Use

Hello everyone, I just bought a new house and I am trying to figure out my pool system. I have the manual, but its not too helpful.

I have a heated salt water pool/spa. What do I have to do maintanance wise with a salt water system. I know its different than just a regular chlorine system.

Lastly, how do I work the system to turn on the spa heating and not the pool, so that I can go to the spa. Here is a picture of my equipment:

I know it might be difficult to describe without being in front of the equipment, but maybe you guys can show me a link that goes more in depth into the how to's.

The previous owner maintaned the pool himself too, so there isn't a pool guy that has experience with my pool, that I can just ask to show me the ropes.
