Hayward Ecostar Remote Interface Issue

Hi, I am trying to do a remote install of the interface. The problem is, the terminal block on the circuit board at the pump end appears to be soldered in upside down and the screws that hold the wire in are not accessible. Any ideas or is this pump defective?
